Suraiya “Blue” Monica Turner, 75, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, Jesse Turner; children, Laura Woods (Jeff); grandchildren, Kelly Turner, Kaitlyn Lancto, and Kevin Lancto; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; siblings, Thattay Thattay Shaw, Ede Srisomboon, Usa Srisomboon, Noppadon Srisomboon, and Aoi Jeravan; and aunt, Dara Kulamhusen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivrahim and Tahera Kulamhusen; her son, Kevin Ivrahim Turner; and her daughter, Kerry Tahera Tiegen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at St. Mary of the Visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Mass will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Father Joy Nellissery officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Cemetery in Huntsville.
