Sun Pok Shin, 90, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. She came to the United States in 1985, and was a member of Huntsville Korean Presbyterian Church since 1987. Mrs. Shin was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Young Ae.
Survivors include sons, Kyu Bok, Kyu Hawn, Kyu Young and Kyu Sok Shin; daughters, Young Ok Phillips, Young Eun Kim, and Young Hee Westrope; grandsons, Hyung Min, Andrew, Adam, Jang Hyun, Sungyun, Matthew and Daniel; granddaughters, Elizabeth, Hee Jung, Yoon Jung, Mo Mee, Bo Yon, Angela, Victoria, Rebecca, Hannah, Nicole and Lindsey; great-grandsons, Yong Gin, Yong Ell and Toby; and great-granddaughter, Easter Kim.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 22 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jin Feon Cheong officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
