Sue Welch Hurn – Obituary

Sue Welch Hurn, age 92, a life long resident of Lawrence County, TN died peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2012 in Franklin, TN. She was born in Chinubee near West Point, TN, on September 22, 1920 to James Earnest Welch and Jane Katherine “Kate” Lumpkins Welch. She was the wife of William Delbert Hurn her husband of 55 years who preceded her in death in 2001. As a homemaker, her love of family and church was the central core of her being. She was a member of the Salem Church of Christ and of the Home Demonstration Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Faye Hurn Brewer and husband, Chuck (Charles) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Suzanne Hurn Marley of Franklin, TN and granddaughters, Caroline Faith Brewer Chapman and husband, Allen Chapman of Lawrenceburg, TN, Rebecca Ruth Brewer Andrews and husband, Scott Andrews of Thompson Station, TN, Mary Susan Brewer Costanzo and husband, Scott Constanzo of Atlanta, GA, Jane Katherine Marley and Susannah Marley of Franklin, TN; great-grandchildren are Evan and Sarah Kate Chapman, Willa and Ellie Andrews, and Thomas and Charlie Constanzo. Along with her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by one infant son, Delbert Welch Hurn.

Preferred Charities and Donations
The family requests memorials be made to Belvedere Commons of Franklin Caregivers Education Fund.
