Graveside service for Sue Tate, 81, of Decatur, will be Friday, May 13, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Reverend Lucky Teague officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the cemetery.
Mrs. Tate, who died Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born Wednesday, July 11, 1934, to Martin E. Busbey and Ilo Busbey. She was a member of Flint Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and church. Her parents preceded her in death
Survivors include her husband, Loyd D. Tate; two sons, Jerry W. Tate and Martin L. Tate; sister, Mary B. Byrd; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and church members.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
