Sue Maze Thornton, 73, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015, at UMC in Jackson, MS. She was born June 14, 1942 in Goreville, IL to the late Jake Maze and the late Ruby Newton Maze. She retired from TEAM after many years of service. She was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, putting puzzles together, and enjoying her cups of coffee.
Survivors include her husband, George Thornton of Fulton, Sons: Greg (Denise) Thornton of Fulton, Tony (Michelle) Thornton of Cherokee, AL, and Brian (Tammy) Thornton of Fulton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sister, Nadine Coffman of Corinth, Brother, Joe (Dianne) Maze of Corinth.
Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jim Maze.
