Sue Lyvonne Crafton  FlippenSue Lyvonne Crafton Flippen, age 80 of the Bethesda Community passed away January 5, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. Born in Williamson County, TN to the late Milton & Elbert Sampson Crafton. She was a member of Peytonsville First Baptist Church. Sue worked for the Williamson County Government for close to 50 years, serving as deputy clerk, county clerk’s office, circuit clerk, and the planning commission. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. “Jimmy” Flippen, Jr. and her sister, Ronelda Crafton. Survived by her loving daughters, Renè (Brad) Ray, Donna (Mickey) Gill and Rhonda (Jeff) Maxwell; grandchildren, Susan (Kendrick) Woods, Brandon (Brandi) Ray, Jessica Gill Perry, Melissa (Daniel) Tomlin, Stephen (Amanda Parrott) Gill, Justin (Kayla) Maxwell and Katelyn Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Brayten, Brodie, Kendall, Emma, Dallas, Shelby, Karley, Jace, Zaiden and several other loving family members. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bro. Bobby Sadler and Bro. Gary Fewell officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Keys Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
