Mr. Stuart Owens Howell Stuart Owens Howell, age 50, of Albertville, passed away on November 22, 2023, at Shepherds Cove Hospice after a long battle with cancer. A devoted family man, Stuart was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly through his love for hunting and fishing. He cherished the moments spent with his family cheering on the Alabama Football team and took immense pride in coaching his children’s sports, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those he guided.
Stuart is survived by his loving parents, Tom and Debbie Howell, and his three cherished children, Brae Howell, Georgia Howell, and Graham Howell. His sister, Catherine (Tommy) Harrison, nephew Parker Harrison, and niece Elliott Harrison. Stuart leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and two uncles.
A celebration of Stuart’s life will be held at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm. The service, officiated by Bro. Joey Cannady, will be a time for family and friends to come together and remember the warmth and love Stuart brought into their lives. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends at the funeral home, starting at 12:30 pm, offering an opportunity for those who knew Stuart to share their condolences and support.
As Stuart makes his final journey to rest at Memory Hill Cemetery, he will be accompanied by; Jeff Overstreet, Kyle Luce, Jason Sprayberry, Danny Sprayberry, Shea Hatley, and John Wright serving as pallbearers, honoring a man whose spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice. May Stuart Howell’s memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
