Steven Wayne JacksonSteven Wayne Jackson, age 57, of Florence (formerly of Russellville), passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at his residence.

Steven was a Russellville High School graduate.  He loved his job with Door Dash, being able to drive around, deliver food, and make lots of new friends.  He was a big Alabama fan, Roll Tide.  He became a Christian, turned his life around, and became the man his family knew he could be.  He touched a lot of people in a short period of time, always ready to help someone and enjoyed helping at Restoration Ranch. He loved his kids and especially his grandchildren.  He was proud of his children, but the kids were just as proud of Steven for all that he had overcame.

He was preceded in death by father, Burleigh “Sleepy” Eugene Jackson; mother, Ella Mae Wilson Hulsey; grandparents, Burleigh Edward & Clois Jackson, Verdo & Margie Wilson; and brother, Chad Hulsey.

Steven leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Crystal Beckloff (Phillip), Tyler Jackson; grandchildren, Ella Beckloff, Jackson Beckloff; siblings, Pam Herring (Gary), Debbie Barnes (Mark), John Jackson (Melanie), Chris Hulsey; several nieces & nephews; and his friends at Restoration Ranch.

The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 01, 2022, at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.   Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the Restoration Ranch, 722 Little Israel Road, Tuscumbia, AL 35674.
