Steven Thomas Sevier – Obituary

Mr. Steven Thomas Sevier, 46, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 26, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 7, 1972 in Memphis, Tennessee to John Watt Sevier and Linda Sue Skinner Sevier. He graduated high school in Memphis and worked as a press operator employed by Color Craft before becoming disabled. He married Nina Lancaster on December 3, 2004 in Memphis, TN, and they moved to Tupelo from Southaven nine years ago. He was a member of Saint James Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, and all things outdoors. Steven was a loving husband and great father and grandfather, who was always concerned for his family’s needs.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM, Monday, July 30, 2018 at Saint James Catholic Church with Father Tim Murphy officiating. A graveside will follow at Saint Thomas Cemetery in Saltillo. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 PM to 7 PM, with a Rosary service to follow, all at the church. Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include his parents, John W. and Linda Sevier of Memphis; wife of 13 years, Nina Sevier of Tupelo; daughter, Kierstin Sevier of Olive Branch; five sons, Christopher Lancaster (Courtney) of Walls, Steven Tyler Sevier (Addison) of Olive Branch, Ryan Lamer of Southaven, Aubrey Sevier (Leah) of Olive Branch, and Tyler Sosely of Tupelo; brother, Mark Sevier (Janie) of Southaven; 3 grandchildren, Dawson Sevier, Mason Lancaster, and Peyton Sevier.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lancaster, Tyler Sevier, Aubrey Sevier, Mark Sevier, Mike Vaughn, and Jai Eshete.

Memorials may be sent in memory of Steven Sevier to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Alabama-Mississippi Chapter, 2200 Woodcrest Place, Suite 280, Birmingham, AL 35209.
