Steven Roger Kroes, 49, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret E. Kroes. A graduate of Grissom High School in 1986, he received his bachelors of Science degree in Finance from the University of North Alabama in 1991. His great loves were music and his motorcycle.
Survivors include his father, Roger Kroes; sister, Katherine Rigby (Mark); and nephews, Jacob, Nathan, Ian, and Bennett.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The funeral service will follow at the church with Father Michael Mac Mahon officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
