Steven Ray “Steve” Peterson, 67 of the Morgan’s Chapel community, passed away Nov. 16, 2023.
Steve was retired from AAA Cooper Transportation. He also worked as a Welder. He was the Owner of Community Ambulance Service in Sumiton. He was a Volunteer with the Bagley Fire Department. He was a member of Dora Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Bobby and Loanie Peterson; his brother, Pastor Rick Peterson and his grandson, Senior Chief Petty Officer Chris Kiker, U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sue Peterson; son, Jason Peterson and wife Leigh Ann; daughter, Debbie Kiker and husband Randy; grandchildren, Carson Peterson (Andrea), Landon Peterson, Meagan White (Colby), Sgt. Tanner Kiker, U.S. Army and Austin Kiker; several other relatives and many friends.
Cremation services are being provided. The family will have a private Memorial service at a later date.
