Funeral service for Steven Lee “Steve” Franklin, 61, will be Friday, May 31, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Todd Toles officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 31, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Franklin died on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. He was born March 16, 1952, in Morgan County to Buddy Benjamin Franklin and Barbara Louella Franklin. He was an avid Alabama “Crimson Tide”, New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, and Green Bay Packers Fan. He attended Decatur High School where he was a member of the class of 1970. He was a member of the Sixth Avenue Church of God. In Lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Mental Health Association of Morgan County,DCI of Decatur, or the National Kidney Foundation.
