Steven L. Hagen, loving son of the late Raymond and Marjorie Hagen, beloved husband of 50 years of Linda (nee Glaubitz) Hagen. Loving father of Jenny (James), Ryan (Caroline), John (Maria), and Kevin. Cherished abuelo of Raymond, Andres, Jordi, Juan Pablo, Lukas, Diego, Celia, Michael, Bella, and Antonio.
Steven was a faithful, humble servant of Our Lord and was devoted to the Blessed Mother. He lived by his quiet and humble example of faith and love. Steven was a devoted husband and father and proud abuelo.
Steven loved to spend his free time with Linda traveling across the country to visit many different lighthouses, having been to over 200 of them. When he wasn’t chasing after lighthouses. Steven enjoyed cheering on Harold Baines and the White Sox through thick and thin. Steven also loved going to Gentile Arena to cheer on his alma-mater Loyola University- Chicago Ramblers basketball team.
He will dearly be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation services will be held at Hampton Cove Funeral Home (6262 Highway 431 South, Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763) on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 3pm-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be preceded by the Holy Catholic Rosary on May, 10 at 8:40am at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church (1201 Kingsbury Ave SE, Huntsville, AL 35801). Interment will immediately follow at Maple Hill Cemetery (202 Maple Hill St. SE, Huntsville, AL 35801)
