Funeral service for Steven E. Jackson age 66 of Hartselle will be Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church Hartselle with Rev. Jeff Redmond officiating with burial in the Napps Cemetery in Decatur with Peck Funeral Home directing. His body will be at the Church one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Jackson, who died on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at his home, was born January 10, 1948 in Morgan County to Ernest Jewell Jackson and Mary Christian Jackson. He was a member of the Hartselle First Baptist Church and was an educator, teaching Science for 27 years. He was preceded in death by his wife; Beverly Ann Jackson and a sister; Brenda Walden. He loved people and greatly loved his son, daughter-in-law and his grandsons.
He is survived by his son; Joshua S. Jackson and his wife Jesse and their two sons; Will and Wade of Fayette, Alabama.
