Steven Douglas Parker, 48 of Union Grove, Alabama died, Thursday July 21, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital.
He was born August 2, 1967 in Fairfax Virginia to Graydon Keith Parker and Annie Jo Lamon Parker. He worked in the transportation industry as a truck driver. Mr. Parker lived in Union Grove for 24 years, moving there from Toney Alabama.
Mr. Parker was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tammy Lynn Blouir Parker; two sons: Jake Parker and Cody Parker; two daughters and son-in-law: Kathlynn Parker and Billy Joe Simpson, Annie Danielle Parker; grandchildren: Anna Belle Simpson and Sophia Simpson. He was preceded in death by his parents Graydon Keith and Annie Jo Parker and a sister Merry Anne Summit.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 23, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Donny Towles, officiating. The family elected cremation following the service. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 23, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
