Steven Douglas Lowry passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021, near Wadley, Alabama. A lifelong resident of Clay County, he enjoyed life with his family and friends. Visitation is Friday from 12:30-1:30pm at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville. Graveside Services are Friday, May 7, 2021 at Ashland City Cemetery starting at 2:00pm with Rev. Calvin Pope officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Lowry; children, Heavenly Lowry and Ian Dunagan; parents, Doston Lowry and Sandy Lowry(Bobby Parmer); a brother, Justin Adam Lowry(Chrissy) and three nieces; grandmother, Becky Cofer; a large extended family and many friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Dwight Cofer, Sherril Rice and Mattie and A.V. Lowry; also Billy Stewart and Heflin Spivey.
Pallbearers will be Justin Lowry, Shawn Spivey, Derrick Spivey, Joseph Stewart, Ryan Ashley and Billy Ashley.
The family requests no flowers but donations be made to help with the funeral expense. Donations should be made at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
