Steve Kearney, 58, of Madison, passed away Thursday. Mr. Kearney loved photography, fishing at the lake, and going to his condo in Panama City Beach whenever he could. He enjoyed watching Alabama football and loved his beloved dog, Coco.
Survivors include his father, John David Kearney; mother, Betty Parish Moore; sister, Becky Young (Bob); brothers, John Marshall Kearney (Tammy), Richard David Kearney (companion, Yvonne), and Gary Wayne Kearney (Petra); and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, July 16, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Dr. Travis Collins and the Rev. Billy Orton officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Wayne Kearney, John Marshall Kearney, Robert Tyler Young, Sean Linnihan, Pemsith Mendis and Derek Drury. Honorary pallbearer will be Richard David Kearney.
The family wishes to give special thanks to an amazing group of friends and co-workers from Intergraph. Your strength, loyalty, and support were uplifting and encouraging. God bless each of you.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Huntsville or Southern Care Hospice.
