Celebration of Life of service for Steve Jones, 62, will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Kossuth Baptist Church with burial to follow in Magnolia Gardens.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home and Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

Steve was born in Corinth on May 20, 1959 to the late William Orville and Mae Oma Pratt Jones. He passed away on January 12, 2022 at his residence after an extended illness. He as a 1977 graduate of Corinth High School and obtained his degree in electrical engineering from University of Southern Mississippi. He was the former owner and operator of Citizens Page and was currently employed at GearTek. He was a member of Kossuth Baptist Church where he was a deacon for 37 years,. He was a member of the choir, taught adult Sunday school class and was currently serving as chairman of the deacons. He is currently an alderman for the town of Kossuth. He enjoyed playing men’s softball, building and flying his model airplanes and turning and making pens.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nan Jones; daughters, Tara Spencer (Jason) and Leah Sheffield (Nathan); son, Donnie Jones (Kylie); grandchildren, Anderson, Cole, and Pace Spencer, Evee and Paisley Sheffield and Atlas Jones, brother, Jason Jones (Annette); sisters, Beth Hall (Richard), Jill Martin (Donnie) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Jon Allen Spencer, Tyler Spencer, Andy Moore, Jerry Miller, Glen Miles and John Winters. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of GearTek, Kossuth Baptist Church Deacons and town of Kossuth alderman.

Bro. Keith Fields will officiate the services and Allen Spencer will deliver the eulogy.
