It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Steve Greene, aged 63, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, on Monday, June 30th, 2025. Born on July 15th, 1961, in Florence, Alabama, he was the son of Duel R. and Julia Newton Greene.
Steve leaves behind his son, Daniel Greene, and daughter-in-law, Whitney. He was a grandfather to Wade, Emersyn, and Elliot. He is also survived by his partner, Kim Gray, and his mother, Julia Greene. His brothers, Greg Greene, married to Selina, and Howard Greene, married to Lynne, also mourn his loss. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends will remember him fondly.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Duel R. Greene, and his brother, James Keith Greene.
Funeral services to honor Steve’s life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Pastor Pat Lawrence will officiate the service. Family and friends are invited to visit and pay their respects from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM, prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery. Honoring Steve as pallbearers will be Lance Greene, Luke Greene, Codey Rose, Trey Rose, Cody Herring, and Blake Rose.
