Stephen Reynolds (Steve) Kaylor, age 65, of Montgomery, Ala., passed away in his home on Dec. 4, 2012, from an extended illness. Steve is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jane Cronier Kaylor, of Montgomery, Ala.; a daughter and her husband, Anna and Andrew Goldman, of Montgomery, Ala.; a son and his wife, Stephen and Stacey Kaylor, of Homewood, Ala.; his mother, Dorothy Kaylor, of Rogersville, Ala.; a sister, Jane Lasseter (Rick); a brother, Phil Kaylor (Donna); and granddaughter, Naomi Kaylor. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Kaylor Sr.; and brother, Hugh (Hamp) Kaylor Jr. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 on Thursday, Dec. 6 at Southern Memorial Funeral Home at 3154 Highland Avenue, Montgomery, Ala. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7 at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Bennett, Cornelious Faulk, Michael Kinne, Josh Norris, Ryan Strong and Kyle Walding. The family would like to thank the nurses of VistaCare, Jan, Jongie, Teresa and Terina. The family would also like to give a very special thank you to Cornelious Faulk and his sons, C.J., A.B. and Hurst.
