Stephen Evard Pierce, Jr., of Lacey’s Spring, AL formerly of Guntersville, age 76, passed away Wednesday October 2, 2013. He was a wonderful husband, loving father, and a kind and caring man. He is survived by his wife Sherri Naff Pierce of Lacey’s Spring; sons Stephen Pierce, III, of Manmouth, Oregon, Vincent Pierce of Birmingham, Alabama, Derek Pierce of Birmingham, Alabama, Brett Naff of Madison, Alabama and daughter Kellan Pierce Selle of Birmingham, Alabama,. Mr. Pierce is also survived by his sister Joy Maclin of Seattle, Washington and his brother Jere Pierce of Memphis, Tennessee. His grandchildren are Rickey Pierce, Stephen Pierce, IV, Jeremy Pierce, Stephen Rogers, Alan Rogers, Patrick Rogers, Austin Pierce, Evelyn Pierce, Katie Pierce, Lance Naff, Olivia Pierce, Grissom Pierce, Aiden Selle (deceased), Connor Selle (deceased), Duncan Selle, and Fiona Selle. He is survived by one great-grandchild, Sebastian Pierce. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 6th, at 3:00 p.m. at The Country Day School, 1699 Old Dry Creek Road, Huntsville, Alabama. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to The Ark Animal Rescue in Huntsville, Alabama. A reception will follow the service.
