Stephen Christopher “Chris” Davis, 35, of Mentone, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at his home. Chris was a helper – he was loyal to his family. He participated in the JROTC at Fort Payne High School and went on to earn his EMT certification. He loved to fish and was an avid SpongeBob fan.
Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 30th at Little River Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Amanda Davis; children Colton White (Breanna), Logan White, and Wesley White; granddaughter Evelyn Claire; parents Tammy Prater (Lee) and Stephen Davis (Cherita); brother Brandon Davis (Skylar); sister Holly Vaughn (James); step-sister Maegan Lowery; grandmother Mary Baker Beasley; aunts Shannon Beasley (Raymond) and Marlana Griffin (Derick); five nephews and 6 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jesse and Eva Bell Wells, Ernest Lee Davis, and William L. Beasley, Jr.
