Stephen Athel “Steve” Guin, 64 Winfield, Alabama

 

Born on  September 23, 1954 to Athel and Johnnie McRight Guin.

Died on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at his residence.

Visitation: 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2019, at the Bowen Funeral Home in Winfield, AL.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Monday, following visitation, at the funeral home chapel.

Burial: Winfield City Cemetery, Winfield, Marion County, AL

Officiating: Brother Kenny Hatcher and Darren Pollard

Mr. Guin was a 1972 Winfield City High School graduate and married his high school sweetheart, Pam Stiles on June 28, 1975. Steve loved his Lord and Savior, his family, church family and friends. Steve was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Guin. He was employed at the 3M Company in Guin for 43 years as a Master Mechanic with perfect attendance for 30 plus years. Steve enjoyed photography, gun collecting, shooting competitions, but most of all, spending time with his family.

Donations in Steve’s memory may be made to the remodeling fund or the music ministry fund at the First Baptist Church of Guin, in Guin, Alabama.
