Stephanie Leigh Horton Brewer was born January 17, 1973 in Florence to the union of her parents Mr. Johnny and Mrs. Connie Eaton Horton. She spent her childhood in the Lutts,TN area and graduated high school from Collinwood High in 1991. Afterwards she would earn her LPN license from the TCAT technical school in Hohenwald, TN. Beginning her career in the medical industry. She possessed a deep love for people, particularly the elderly, a field she would remain in for over 30 years. Over her adult life, she was blessed with 3 daughters and raised them with all the love and compassion a loving, caring mother could express. Later, she would meet her significant other Mr. Randy Dodd and the couple would remain together for over 12 years.
She was spiritually minded, as she was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Brewer also deeply loved her pets but in particular her dog affectionately known as “Buddy” who was always a loyal companion.
In her leisure time she could be found watching sports on television especially her favorite football team the “Tennessee Vols” of which she rarely missed a game. She also loved traveling to the Mountains in East Tennessee, particularly her favorite locations Cades Cove and Gatlinburg, TN never missing an opportunity to visit the aquarium and other popular tourist locations within the area.
Those who knew her best will remember her as a hardworking, loyal, devoted mother, loving daughter and friend to all who knew her. Ms. Stephanie Liegh Horton Brewer passed from this life on October 05, 2025 at the Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN making her stay on this earth some 52 years and 8 months.
Those left to honor her memory include her significant other Randy Dodd of Waynesboro, TN; father Johnny Horton of Collinwood, TN; mother Connie Eaton Horton of Lutts, TN; daughters Ashleigh Lemons and husband Roy, Anna Lemons all of Anderson, SC and Emily Brewer Franks and husband Alex of Flatwoods, TN; grandchildren Noah Inman, Beau Franks and Jovi Franks; grandmother Violet Eaton of Lutts, TN; brother Brent Horton and wife Tracy of Lutts, TN; nephew Dillon Horton and wife Abby Horton both of Lutts, TN; as well as several aunts and uncles, a host of cousins and many other family members, friends and dear loved ones.
Those who precede her in death include her grandparents John and Evelyn Horton and Claude Eaton.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday October 08, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Greg Eaton and David Byrd officiating; burial will follow in the Lutts Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin Wednesday October 08, 2025 at 10:00 am till service time at 1:00 pm all at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Waynesboro, TN.
