FRANKLIN, TN-Franklin-based Steel Magnolias Podcast announces Women in Whiskey, a day-long adventure to Jack Daniel’s Distillery, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., CDT, May 30. The event features a private tour of Jack Daniel’s Distillery, lunch at their exclusive BBQ Hill, special cocktails and a panel discussion with the women immersed in the business at the distillery.

Hosted by sisters Lainie Stubblefield and Laura Beth Peters, the popular Steel Magnolias Podcast is in the top 1% of podcasts globally. Women in Whiskey is open to women from all walks of life with an audacious spirit, interested in building community through exciting travels.

“We hope you will take a day trip with us to sip whiskey, eat BBQ and learn about the importance of this Tennessee treasure through the eyes of women,” Laura Beth Peters said. “Whether you’re a whiskey connoisseur or looking to extend your Memorial Day celebrations with friends, make your plans now for a May 30 Lynchburg, Tennessee experience.”

The trip is a joint effort with Experience Tennessee and includes a Tennessee Whiskey Passport, $10 gift card to the Whiskey Trailhead giftshop, commemorative trailhead poker chip, commemorative Jack Daniel’s poker chip, commemorative Steel Magnolias event poker chip, and Whiskey Trailhead sticker.

Roundtrip transportation is available from Franklin, Tenn. to Lynchburg, Tenn., through Mint Julep Experiences as an additional option. Transportation is an add-on to your tickets at check-out. Shuttles depart Franklin at 8 a.m. CDT returning at 5:45 p.m. CDT.
