MONTGOMERY-The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), in partnership with CRO Planning & Design, is working with the public and partners to evaluate Alabama’s current outdoor recreation offerings. Through this work, priority actions will be identified to support the state in managing its valuable assets for the future by developing opportunities at statewide, regional, and local levels.
A SCORP, and the information you provide, will help Alabama:

– Promote shared stewardship of Alabama’s outstanding public resources
– Ensure that the State is meeting the needs and desires of its residents and recreation participants
– Provide a clear and informed strategy to manage Alabama’s outdoor recreation assets at all levels
