Stanley Wilson (Wink) Watkins of Bethel Springs, TN was born July 12, 1938 in Alcorn County, MS the son of the late Stanley Fred Watkins and Veda Frazier Watkins. He was united in marriage to Myrtle Charlene Jarnigan on November 29, 1958.
Mr. Watkins owned and operated Winks Cafe in Selmer, TN for nearly 30 years. He was a member of Bethel Springs First Baptist Church. Wink enjoyed working, taking vacations to the mountains, listening to bluegrass music, and in his earlier years camping. He departed this life on March 26, 2019 at his home in Bethel Springsat the age of 80 Years, 8 Months, 14 Days.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Myrtle Charlene Watkins of Bethel Springs; a son, Stanley G. Watkins and wife Becky of Selmer, TN; seven grandchildren, Miranda Bryant, Brandy Berg, Tiffany Gray, Colt Wilbanks, Jake Watkins, Anthony Miller, Jay Weatherford; five great grandchildren including Taylor Alise Hollands that he raised as his own. He is also survived by a brother Gary Watkins of Bowling Green, KY and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Watkins was preceded in death by a son, Randy Watkins; a sister, Helen Marie Watkins; a brother, Ralph Watkins.
