Mr. Stanley Rashad Bradley Stanley Rashad Bradley was born on November 11, 1977, in Huntsville, Alabama to Charles and Audrey Bradley. Stanley transitioned on August 20, 2023, at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, GA.

Stanley was baptized by Reverend Aaron Toney and became a member of Mt. Zion CPCA at an early age.  He was a member of the Mt. Zion Youth Choir and the Christian Youth Fellowship.

Stanley was educated in the Huntsville City School system, attending West Mastin Lake Elementary School, Ed White Middle School and graduating from JO Johnson High School.  He played the French Horn in middle and high school band.  He was also a member of the Ed White Middle Academic Team, J.O. Johnson Academic Team, and Huntsville All City Academic Team.

Stanley attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. While at Morehouse he was a member of the   Morehouse Honda Campus Academic Team. Stanley graduated Cum Laude in the Morehouse class of 1999, receiving a B.S. degree in Chemistry. He continued his studies at Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, Atlanta, GA.

Stanley began his career in education by becoming a member of Teach for America.  He taught elementary school in the Atlanta Public School System and Dekalb County School District. He spent the bulk of his career at Toney Elementary. His most recent role was as a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Coach for Dekalb County School District.

Stanley was an avid reader, sports fan, and a sometimes runner who enjoyed friends, family, and food.  Stanley along with his friend Alison Knowlton Mason hosted a podcast entitled “The Framily Meeting”.

Stanley is survived by his parents, Audrey and Charles Bradley, Madison, AL; sister, Ursula (Allen) Brooks, Huntsville, AL; brother, Kendrick Long, Meridianville, AL.; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the Mount Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (3726 Pryor Road, Madison, AL 35756) with Pastor James Robinson officiating. Interment will be in the Faith Memorial Park. Mr. Bradley will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public viewing will be held from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
