Stanley Lee Gray, 70, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital—Golden Triangle in Columbus. He was born on February 26, 1951 in Monroe County to Leander and Clemia Ophelia Cook Gray. He worked as a sawmiller and then he roofed houses. He enjoyed fishing and mechanic work and he was of the Church of God faith.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gray of Splunge; 4 sons, Dustin Gray of Detroit, AL, Stanley Gray of Amory, Milford Glasgow of Splunge, and Michael Gray; 3 daughters, Janice Marie Kincaid of Starkville, Sarah Ophelia Brown of Evergreen, and Teresa Ann Gray of Athens; 4 brothers, James Daniel Gray of Becker, Donnie Gray of Bigbee, Eddie Gray of Nettleton, and Steward Gran of Greenwood Springs; one sister, Barbara Dill of Mantachie; grandchildren, Joseph Gray, Hunter Gray, Casper Gray, Landon Gray, Chase Gray, Lydia Gray, Ashley Floyd, Cody Gray, Samson Buckner, Timothy Buckner, William Kincaid, Destiny Brown, Abby Gail Sanders, and Glenn Sanders; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Sue Tate and Missy Gray; and by his parents.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from noon until service time.
