Stanley L. Meyer age 71 of Athens, formally of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Meyer was born March 20, 1943 in Sioux Falls, SD to Stanley L. Meyer, Sr. and Emma Crosby Meyer.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 11:00 a.m., at First United Methodist Church with Jimmy Bassham officiating. A luncheon will be provided following the service in the Beasley Center, everyone welcomed.
Mr. Meyer was a member of First United Methodist Church in Athens.
Survived by his wife, Leah Meyer; two daughters, Dawn Szuba and husband David, Christina Jackson and husband, Jody; two grandchildren, Bethany Bak and Erin Szuba; three step-grandchildren, Wes Jackson, Lana Eisenwine and Andrea Jackson; four step-great-grandchildren, Lilly, Annie, Kenneth and Adam; mother-in-law, Irene Schryver; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
