Stanley Junior McMunn, 71, of Toney, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
He was born on Saturday, March 12, 1955, to the late James Edward McMunn and the late Mary Etta Sims McMunn.
Stanley was a lifetime resident of Limestone County and a member of the Baptist faith. In his free time, Stanley loved riding motorcycles and ATVs, he loved being on the water fishing, and he truly enjoyed his work in construction as well as cutting grass.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, four siblings: Lee Edward McMunn, David William McMunn, Roe Winford McMunn, and Clara Imogene Hardiman, as well as one son, Zachary Scott Tribble
Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Joyce McMunn, four daughters: Tabitha (Jeremy) Roberts, Celena (Randy) Sisk, Brandi (Eric) Holcomb, and Christy (Chris) Smith, one son, James Aaron Tribble, two brothers, James Vander (Pamela) McMunn and Joel Anthony (Belinda) McMunn, eleven grandchildren, as well as six great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation held for Mr. McMunn at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama, on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A chapel service is scheduled for the following day, Friday, October 9, 2026, again at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, with service time beginning at 1:00 PM. Bro. Brian Murphy will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Gatlin Cemetery.
