Stanley John Bohanan Sr, age 59 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, he was born on March 17, 1965, to the late Thomas Howard and Jean Alice (Johnson) Bohanan Sr. Stanley had previously been employed as a mechanic at Southern Performance before becoming self-employed. He loved cars…whether it be working on cars, collecting diecast cars, or watching NASCAR (cheering for Davey Allison). Stanley cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Cowan First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Bohanan. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Darlene Bohanan; children, Tiffany (Chad) Holliday, Tosha (David) Winders, and Stanley (Ieasha) Bohanan Jr; grandchildren, Carson O’Dare, Ashton Holliday, Haley Bohanan, Ryan Bohanan, Morgan Bohanan, Stanley Bohanan III, and Jayda Miller; siblings, Candy (Gary) Bigham, Thomas “Tinker” (Barbara) Bohanan Jr, Cookie (Don) Layne and Larry Bohanan; special dear friends, Bo Walker and Jason Kluge; and several nieces and nephews.
