Mr. Stanley Edmund Garrett, age 77, of Arab, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Diversicare of Arab.
Mr. Garrett was born on April 17, 1942 to Lee Garrett & Marcia Lee Perkins Poole. Stanley served in the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, gospel singing & spending time with his dog, Buck. Mr. Garrett attended Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
Mr. Garrett is survived by his step-son, Charles Cale; grandchild, Michael Cale; and a host of nieces, nephews & cousins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Francis Garrett; step-son, George Allen Cale; sisters, Lenora Bentley, Elaine Duncan.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Mtn. View Cemetery in Union Grove. Pastor Richard York will be officiating with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
