Stancil L. “Hub” Sanford, age 85 of Dora, passed away Tuesday December 27, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral service will be Friday December 30, 2016 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ken Mostella will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Hazel Sanford; brothers, Austin Sanford and Ray Sanford; sisters, Mildred Henley and Elsie Ridley.
He is survived by his wife of sixty one years, Ruth Sanford; sister, Margaret Sanford; sisters-in-law, Mary Sanford; Syble Haraway and Sue Falks; special niece, Mechelle Blythe; grandson, Spencer Williams; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Howard and Betty Davis; and Cheryl Roy; as well as many friends; and his church family.
