Funeral Services for Mr. Stan Caldwell, age 72 of Lineville, will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. Zenus Windsor officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Caldwell passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Mr. Caldwell was a lifelong resident of Lineville, and once he graduated from Wadley High School, he entered the U.S. Air Force and served in the Vietnam War for a few years. Once he returned, he started working at Wellborn Cabinets. He worked his way to become a Cabinet Rep for multiple Cabinet manufacturer companies. When he married his wife, Jean, they started Jean Caldwell Sales and worked together for 30 years. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, and won multiple awards in shooting sports. Mr. Caldwell loved offshore fishing with his sons, catching red snapper and other fish, and just enjoyed working and being with his family. He was a member of Mineral Springs United Methodist Church and was a Shriner.

Mr. Caldwell is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jean Caldwell of Lineville; three daughters: Julie Harbin of Ashland, Kay Pickett (Jeff) of Clanton and Jade Caldwell of Lineville; two sons: Tim McCormick (Frances) of Highland and Shannon McCormick (Bridget) of Riverside; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; his sister, Renee Brewer (Mike) of Birmingham; his brother, LaVoy Caldwell (Leisel) of Wedowee, a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Caldwell and Jeanette Burson Caldwell.

Active Pallbearers will be Albert Eiland, Douglas Kirk, Bobby Maguire, Neal Hurst, Matthew Duhaime and Merell Bell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ray Fargason, Donnie Fargason, Wally Burger, Shannon McCormick and Tim McCormick.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville, and until service time at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday.

Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.
