Stacey Swatek passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the age of 55. She was affectionately known as “Maha” by her granddaughter, Juliana.
Stacey was a varsity cheerleader and varsity basketball player at Albertville High School. She attended cosmetology school afterward. She was plagued with sickness for the majority of her life, dealing with daily pain that most could not bear. She was well-loved by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Churchill and Bonnie Taylor.
She is survived by her only son, Tadrick Swatek, granddaughter, Juliana Swatek, grandson Graham Gaskin, brother, Dustin (Amy) Taylor, sister, Robin Taylor, and a host of nieces and nephews. Because of her faith in Jesus Christ, we know that Stacey is now at peace and completely healed.
A celebration of life will be held on May 26, 2026, at 6 o’clock at Bethel Baptist Church in Snead, AL.
