Stacey Lee “Sonny” Cummings, age 53, of Killen, passed away March 3, 2017. Visitation will be today, March 6, from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at North Carolina Church of Christ. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. with Brother Leon Cole officiating.
Sonny died of an MS related illness. We were so lucky to have had Sonny in our lives these few years. He taught us so much about unconditional love. He was a sweet man and a beautiful soul. He was baptized into Christ this January.
Sonny is survived by his loving wife, Mitzi Cummings; parents, Paul and Shirley Cummings; children, Aubrey Lillianne Reagan, Johnny Cummings, Eliza Grace Lynn, Brianna McCurley, and Caleb Cummings; grandchildren, John Koy Lynn and Kienan McCurley; brother, Mickey Cummings; and sister, Debbie Morrison.
Sonny was a loving husband, father, son, and a special papa to Koy. Jesus, hold him in your arms until we see him again.
