Peggie Dean Harden, age 80, of Muscle Shoals, formerly of Nesbit, Mississippi and Memphis, Tennessee, passed away March 4, 2017.
She worked as an EMT for Methodist Hospitals of Memphis and as a receptionist with Mid-South Fairs, Inc. She has always been an active church member, most recently at Ford City Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert Harden; a sister; and three brothers.
She is survived by her five children, Mike (Vi) Harden, of Atlanta, Georgia, Tony (Denise) Harden, of Southhaven, Mississippi, Kenny Harden, of Memphis, Tennessee, Donnie (Karen) Harden, of Martin, Tennessee, and Vicki (Don) Balash, of Collierville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today, March 6, from 10-11 a.m. at Ford City Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Brother J. D. Harrison officiating. A graveside service will follow today at 4 p.m. at Belle Vernon Cemetery in Friendship, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Ford City Baptist Church, 5890 River Road, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661.
