Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.” This quote was the essence of Stacey’s life, as she touched countless hearts with her kindness and generosity. Stacey, a resident of Florence, Alabama, had a zest for life that was unmatched. She delighted in the simple pleasures – reading books, watching movies, and listening to her favorite bands. She had a unique ability to find beauty in the most ordinary things, a quality that was infectious to those around her. Her love for life was deeply intertwined with her love for her family, who were her utmost priority and the central source of her happiness. She is survived by her daughter, Alexa Vandiver, son, Chase Odom, and former spouse, Stacy Darby. Stacey’s parents, Ray Carpenter and Ramona Brown, preceded her in death. As we remember Stacey, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul generously shared. We remember her laughter, her wisdom, her kindness, and above all, her boundless love for her family.
