Spurgeon was formally read charges in child abuse, human trafficking – PHOTOS

FLORENCE – Jenise Spurgeon was a foster parent. And was this morning formally presented the charges against her in several hundred counts (along with her husband, who is still awaiting extradition from Florida) of sex crimes with children, by Circuit Judge Gil Self. It didn’t take long, considering the severity of the charges. Over  100 counts of child abuse, 11 counts of first-degree human trafficking and domestic-violence strangulation while she was a foster parent in Florence. She is being held in the Florence/Lauderdale Detention Center. Bond has not been granted.

Her husband , Daniel Spurgeon is still in Florida awaiting extradition.
