Mr. Spurgeon L Parrish Sr. age 93 of Albertville passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. A visitation will be held Friday, November 29, 2019, from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, the funeral service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019, at The First Baptist Church of Guntersville at 11:00 am with Bro. Aaron Johnson and Bro. Wayne Brooks officiating, with a lie-in-state from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens. He is survived by daughters; Dale Gentle, Carol Nichols, Betty (John) Lovvorn, son; Spike (Evelyn) Parrish, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; J Willis & Maude Parrish, wife; Louise Parrish, grandson; Jeremy Parrish, 2 sons-in-law; Johnny Gentle & David Nichols, brother; Keith Parrish, sisters; Lois Parrish, Gly Sterling, Gladys Lyles, Hazel Gibbs, Doris Parrish, Sibyle Lang. The family will accept flowers, or donations can be made to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice of Marshall County.
