A Memorial service for Sophie Gonzales Moses, 86, will be Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moses was born Friday, February 5, 1937, in Wyoming, to Miguel Don Gonzales and Sebastiana Rodrigues Gonzales.
Mrs. Moses passed away at her home, where she had lived 57 years, on January 31, 2024. She was surrounded by the love of her family. She was a member of the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church in Decatur, Alabama. She retired from Hardees, where she was a manager and from the Hartselle City School System.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Kenneth Ray Moses, her parents, her brothers and a son.
