She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Joshua Gregg Jones, Timothy Jones, Richard Wade Jones; sister, Joyce Gaskin.
She is survived by daughter, Tonia Akers (Nicholas); brother, Mitch Kornegay; six grandchildren, Dan Akers, Zackery Akers, Nicholas Akers, Jr., Hannah Jones, Austin Jones, Ava Jones; and a host of family and friends.
