Son Being Held In Beating Death Of His Mother

FRANKLIN COUNTY-Statement From Franklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver:  “Scotty Lee Keeton, 30 has been charges with Murder in connection with the beating death of his mother Sharon Keeton age 62, the incident took place at the Keeton residence on FRiday, November 13.”

On Friday Franklin County Sheriff’s Department was contacted around noon about a possible Homicide.  After arriving at 33811 Old Vina Road Sharon Keeton was found inside her residence beaten to death.  She was pronounced dead at the scene by the  Franklin County Coroner. After questioning Keeton’s son, Scotty Keeton who lived at the residence with his mother  was charged in his mother’s death.

Keeton is being held in the Franklin County Jail.
