ST FLORIAN-The Smoke on the Water Festival is more than just a BBQ cook-off – it’s an event for the entire family! Sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society and the Alabama BBQ Association, this cook-off will determine the very best barbeque from among entrants participating from throughout the Southeast. Winners will compete for cash prizes.
Bring your family to St. Florian Park on April 23, 2022 and sample this for yourself! Your admission is a donation of $15 or more to Shoals Scholar Dollars for adults 18 and older. Youth under 18 enter free with a paid parent. there will be BBQ sampling, live entertainment, Corn Hole competition, vendors, car show, kids zone and more.
The Festival is a project of the Rotary Club of Florence and the Greater Shoals Rotary Club, benefits Shoals Scholar Dollars, and is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society and the Alabama Barbeque Association.
