MUSCLE SHOALS-The Muscle Shoals Police Department issued a statement concerning an auto accident that has taken the life of a Florence woman:
“On Sunday, July 9, 2023 at approximately 01″38am, Muscle Shoals officers responded to the road crossing Wilson Dam near the TVA Hydro Plant for a single-vehicle crash.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2002 Jeep Liberty was traveling south on Wilson Dam when the vehicle collided with the Hydro Plant concrete wall.
The driver, and sole occupant, Isabella Dawn Wilson, 27 of Florence, Alabama was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
Officers are still collecting information to determine the circumstances that led to this crash.
