MARSHALL COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Marshall County has taken the life of a Winfield woman:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, has claimed the life of a Winfield woman.
Ashlyn J. Parr, 24, was fatally injured when the 2017 Ford Fusion she was driving left the roadway, struck a tree, and caught fire. Parr was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 79 near the 79 mile marker, approximately 6 miles north of Brooksville, in Marshall County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
