CULLMAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reprts a single-vehicle accident has taken the life of a Hanceville man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:06 a.m. Friday, January 24, has claimed the life of a Hanceville man.
Victor L. Boatright, 70, was critically injured when the 2010 Jeep Liberty that he was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned. Boatright was airlifted to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Hospital for treatment. On Monday, January 27, Boatright succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased while at the hospital.
The crash occurred on U.S. 31 near Cullman County 486, approximately one mile south of Cullman, in Cullman County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
