FLORENCE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near Florence that has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6 a.m. Saturday, May 25, has claimed the life of a Florence man.
Fabio D. Catu, 28, was fatally injured when the 2010 Nissan Armada that he was driving left the road and struck a tree. Catu was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Lauderdale County 8 near Alabama 17, approximately six miles north of Florence, in Lauderdale County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
