MORGAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Morgan County has taken the life of one person:
A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5 p.m. Monday, August 4, has claimed the life of a Foley woman.
Brittany M. Reed, 29, was fatally injured when the 1999 Toyota Corolla that she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Reed was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Gum Pond Road near Martin Road, approximately four miles southeast of Ryans Crossroads, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
